FIRST AND MOST INPORTANT!!!
U guys MUST have HardSPL INSTALLED on ur phones BEFORE trying anything of this out...
I Suggest u use HArdSPL 1.40 Unsigned (Its in the RAR file)

AFTER u have installed HardSPL 1.40 Unsigned to ur phone

Unrar and go to step 2 folder and run -> DiamonCustomRUU.exe

Just do what it says and update.

After the phone restart copy DiamUnlock.exe from the step3 folder on to your diamond (Anywhere) and run it.

The DiamUnlock.exe closes itself very fast, i have sucessfully made it by first launching the program and quickly and several times press up button and touch the screen 
if you'r lucky the screen stays and you can sim-unlock your diamond!!

IT WORKS!!!

I just used this to unlock my Diamond from orange UK. You do have to be fast. I recorded the phone with my camera and played back the image in slow mo to see where to press.
You need to check one of the boxes and clikck near bottom left all in a fraction of a second.

THIS WORKS! My phone was locked to Swedish operator 3. I couldn't use other sims and not even use the official ROM updates from HTC. Now everything works. I tried a Swedish Telia-sim and updated with the new official HTC rom update!

How come it doesn't work for me?

I install HardSPL 1.40 Unsigned to my phone and it updates without any problems.. then in step 2, the DiamondCUstomRUU.exe won't start. I just get a message saying "The program couldn't be intitiated correctly (). Click OK to close..." the message is actually in swedish " Det gick inte att initiera programmet korrekt (0¤0000135). Klicka på OK för att avsluta programmet."

Anyone? =/

Works perfect on my Swedish HTC Diamond locked to Three. The best thing is that you can now upgrade your phone whith HTCs updates. Anouther bonus is that HTC original updates removes Threes own anoying system plugins.
The phone looks up all system settings for Internet and MMS setting on its own after the HTC rom update.

OH btw, if ur screen gets "fuzzy" because of the HardSPL 1.40, just press the off button 2 times (Switch the display on and off, NOT shut it down) and its fixxed.

This really does work gr8!! Heres a tip incase it flashes on and off too quickly for you!! after you run the diamon unlocker .exe look out for a big box at the bottom that says check sim status, if you hit that intime its brings up another box showing the unlock status of the fone, move thyat out of the way and your free to select any options without the sim unlocker closing itself

if it says You need NET framework, you have to download NET frame work from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en

Now you can run DiamonCustomRUU.exe

Works perfectly! It might take a few minutes of frantic button/screen touching to properly launch the unlocker exe, click on "check sim status" and quickly press OK in the window that pops up, but it does what it says!

Now I can get the HTC rom updates and hopefully get some of that vodafone branding out of my phone :P

Am i the only one who can't get this to work?

I have hardspl and it works when i want to flash other roms.. But as soon as i want to flash step2 it starts and stops at 99% with an error of ERROR [226] FLASH WRITE.. And then my diamond enters bootloader with a "Upgrade ROM code error, please try again" .. I have tried flashing many times now and downloading the torrent again but it won't work..

Any ideas?

shit pomfritt galaxer i mina braxor hej hå å luden tå det funkade klock rent var lite pill men stressade mobilen. trykte massor med gånger på programet så det startades hela tiden sen råkade jag lägge tummen längs ner til hörnet medans jag tok tryckte på miten boxen som det stog realyse sim lock på då stannade sidan uppe å jag kunde i lung å ro klicka i att ädringarna skulle göras klaaart

PS för å kunna ladda ner den nyaste rom versionen från htc hem sida behöver du skriva ind detta srn HT830GN09332 annar så säger han denna rom passar inte til din mobil för det är ju en tex 3 mobil tex med brandad rom å då går i vanliga fal inte det men efter uplåsningen osv så ska det gå så du får bort 3 skiten

Step 1 works just fine.
Step 2 works all the way to 100% then it stops and "Error write flash 226" appears!

I use Vista, are there anyone who can help me with this!? I've spent several hours with this crap now -.-
